Recycling Cloth Diapers: Other uses for Real Nappies cloth diapers
Our cotton cloth prefold diapers are excellent quality and last for years and years. They are 100% pure natural cotton and are made from the best indian cotton available. In fact we have so many customers who tell us they are recycling them by finding uses for their cloth diapers long after their little one is out of them! We thought you may be interested to know how some of customers make use of their diapers (other than of course for diapering!)
- Diapering (obviously)
- Cloths to lay down on my mattress under chest for when you leak at night (I hate wearing a bra to bed)
- Cloths to hold over/under the breast baby is not feeding from (the other one always leaks at the same time!!!)
- Lay one out flat on cot mattress to soak up vomit/spillage in the night
- Put one behind bubs head in car seat when travelling in the car (for the same reason as above)
- To roll up and wedge around bubs while in bed to stop her rolling
- Pop them on shoulder after a feed while burping
- Lay them on the floor underneath baby for some naked, tummy time!
- Pass them onto friends and their babies
- Re-sell them on Ebay!
After baby has grown out of diapers:
- Dusters – diaper make great cleaning cloths
- Cleaning windows
- Car cleaning
- Use them as diapers for your grand-children!
- Mopping up spillages – Our cloth diaper are sooo absorbent.
- Dog pulling toy – yes we did just say that! We still have some from when our boy was in them and we have now tied a whole in the middle of the diaper, and our pup takes them everywhere. She plays tug of war with them all day and they are lasting even her strong teeth! lol!
Well there you go, so our cloth diapers rock – not only do we save you money diapering, but we continue to do so for many many years!
