Well we tried both.   We found the differences in the quality was huge!  As we offer a 2 child guarantee our products have to go the distance.  Our diapers also get used in diapering services, hospitals and day care centres so you can imagine the work they have to do! 

Chinese prefolds  These are marketed in the same way as an Indian Prefold and indeed may look the same.  However do not be fooled.  (more…)

Our cotton cloth prefold diapers are excellent quality and last for years and years.  They are 100% pure natural cotton and are made from the best indian cotton available.  In fact we have so many customers who tell us they are recycling them by finding uses for their cloth diapers long after their little one is out of them!  We thought you may be interested to know how some of customers make use of their diapers (other than of course for diapering!)

Hello Real Nappies Team,

I met you briefly last year at the Baby Expo and you introduced me to your Real Nappies range. I was really impressed with your sincere passion for your product and the enthusiasm you showed. I didn’t even look at the nappies properly at the Expo as I had arrived not long before it was due to shut down for the day and I wanted to see as much as I could. You had given me a brochure to have a quick look at and told me to call if I had any more questions. It wasn’t until about a month later that I started seriously thinking about getting organised with buying all the things that I needed for my baby and nursery, including diapers.

I had been asking around a fair bit as I knew a few pregnant Mom’s-to-be that I had met through classes. Everyone had a different idea and most rattled off a few names like Baby Beehinds, Bumgenius etc whom they had bought tester packs from. My wife and I had our fist baby almost 10 years ago now, a beautiful baby girl we named Emily.  Back then we had never heard of re-usable cloth diapers, I’m not talking about the Terry Towelling squares that our parents put us in, obviously we’d heard about those, but nobody used those anymore.
